Though Michael described herself as spiritual rather than strictly religious—finding God mostly in nature— she frequently accompanied John to Catholic mass, finding peace in their shared time together. She often spoke of this era of her life with immense gratitude, once noting that the peace she had found was “beyond my wildest dreams.”
Sadly, their real-life love story reached its conclusion when John passed away in 2025. After spending more than 35 devoted years together, his death marked the end of an extraordinary partnership.
